About me

I am currently a Senior Software Engineer at Zoox working on the Autonomy Planner team.

Previously, I was a Senior Autonomy Navigation Engineer at Supernal working on building safe and certifiable autonomous flying vehicles for advanced air mobility. Prior to that, I completed my postdoctoral research at NAVLab at Stanford University after obtaining my Ph.D. and M.S. degrees from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and my B.Tech. degree from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay.

Broadly speaking, I enjoy solving complex problems from first principles. My research background is in the field of robotics, specifically safe positioning and navigation of autonomous systems, with a core focus on learning-based algorithms, state estimation, and trajectory planning.
